100 Blocks Blog Tour

Thank you and hello to all who are visiting me for the first time on the 100 blocks blog to, and hello again to my old time blog friends… today is my DAY to show you this block

100blocks block

It was so exciting to see I’d made the cover!

Can you just see it there 3 across, 3 down? in some very nice company I must say…

I began designing my block early in the year, or was it late last year- not sure, time flies when you are having fun – I actually easily met my deadline for a change as I had two others to design also for Quiltaid and QuiltaidUSA. (These are two charity projects I Administer where just by doing what you love –making quilts- you are helping the Women of Ethiopia and the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital)

So as you can see I was on a roll and a theme was forming here…yes I was in love with appliquéd corners to give an inner design. I combined my love of stitchery and appliqué on all of these blocks and actually think they’d make a lovely set for a wallhanging or cushions.

Now, the publishers have given me a couple of copies of the magazine to ‘do as I please with’ – I only want one for prosperity so sign up to my RSS feed and leave a comment and you may win your very own copy mailed to your door. If not you can now purchase it here

There are lots of giveaways at www.quiltmaker.com/quiltypleasures during the week. Some will be planned and some will be spontaneous. Fabulous prizes of fabric, patterns, books, notions and of course, copies of 100 Blocks – mmmm I’m going to visit also!

I do hope you like my design and can find a use for it one day.

Don’t forget to come back and visit again – there is a free 4 part Stitchery Project in progress right now – scroll back a bit to peek, you are welcome to join in..
