Delivery Information

All goods purchased via our online store will be delivered via Australia Post, Toll Priority or at times Sendle. We endeavour at all times to ship your orders in the most economical but secure manner. Australia Post deliveries are not registered, trackable or insured. Once the order has left our premises it is deemed to be delivered. Please request  Express Post which is trackable in the checkout process if you wish to have some insurance on your order as they will not be replaced if they do not arrive. Toll packages are trackable as are Sendle packages so if you'd prefer us to recalculate using a different method, or to add insurance/tracking to your order please mention it in the comments section.

We have added an option named Letter rate. Note: this is for a flat paper pattern only. This is a cheaper rate for flat, light paper goods only (such as patterns) but is not registered nor trackable. Note: If letter rate is selected we do not replace late or missing items and we cannot track your order in anyway. If selected for other shaped items your order will not be able to be processed until further shipping is paid. You may request a registered post label to be added to your letter for tracking purposes in the comments section of your checkout for an extra fee. ($2.90 Australia, $9.00 International)
Some unusually shaped items or those which require more secure packaging will have the actual shipping and packaging costs added at processing time. In most cases this will be noted next to the item. In  some cases postage will be decreased from the automated amount if possible.
If the incorrect shipping option is selected in the shopping cart then the correct shipping amount will be added to your order at processing time.
We may at recycle post bags and envelopes where possible to cut down on your postage costs and to save the wastage in our world.
HNK/QI posts all items either with Australia Post or via a courier. We take no responsibility for any losses or damages to your purchase once it leaves our property. We also do not guarantee a parcel to arrive within a specific time frame once it has been posted, that is in the hands of the postage company and completely out of our control. We do not exchange or refund if a parcel is not received in time for its specific intended use.

Our shopping cart calculates Australia Post shipping charges based on weight and measurement. Often we can improve these automated shipping rates by packing and recalculating total shipping or using other shipping methods. In this event we will always refund any excess shipping you have paid if we are able to.

Free shipping offer:  for orders over AUD$100  will be shipped standard, non trackable, non insured rates within Australia only - if you want tracking or insurance please choose another option. Note: free shipping is not included in recurring purchases (BOM etc) if subsequent months are not over the $100 limit. Note: The free shipping option may take up to 12 days to arrive.

Freight will be generally charged at the rates listed in the shopping cart but if we can reduce the cost when packing the order we will do so and credit you the savings.

If you feel the automatically applied shipping rate in the shopping cart is very high please contact us and we will pick and pack the order and calculate an exact shipping rate - which we may be able to reduce using our other options.

International shipping: customers are responsible for all in-country customs, clearance or taxable fees incurred.
