Colouring with Hobbysew

Over the weekend, I was fortunate to teach at Hobbysew’s first ever retreat in the wonderful Tops Resort at Stanwell Tops.

I taught alongside the lovely Monica Poole and Brenda Gael Smith and it was lovely that we each have such different techniques to share.

My chosen project was Colourque – which proved to be a very relaxing class for the ladies after the more intense machine classes.

It always amazes me how when we all start from the exact same point we ended up with 77 completely different results. But all beautiful in their own way.  I look forward to seeing some finished projects emailed through to me and I know there are going to be many ladies now using this technique in their own style of work..

Below are a few examples – if you want to see all 77 visit the album page.. Sorry I don’t have names for all 77 of them! What a bunch of lovely like minded passionate ladies we met and stitched with. It was a pleasure sharing my weekend with you..
