Preparing Appliqué explains various machine and hand appliqué techniques and in detailed step-by-step photos shows how to prepare the appliqué using each technique.

Stitching demonstrates the many machine stitches and basic hand stitches used for appliqué and gives details of when to use each and how to set up the machine.

Notebooks and Tips are included throughout each chapter. A Notebook gives information that applies to many of the techniques and is important to them. A Tip is a bit of information that makes the process easier but is not essential.
